This project is a partnership between Carmarthenshire County Council / Carmarthenshire Energy Agency and Menter Cwm Gwendraeth and aims to assist communities to work towards reducing their impact on Climate Change and become resilient to the depletion of fossil fuels.

As part of our project, we can run workshops for your community to develop plans that are relevant to your area help develop sustainable local projects and campaigns. These can include investigating how we can produce local food, reduce our dependency of cars, reducing energy and resources and sharing skills between generations. 

The project will also support communities who are ready to engage in community owned renewable energy schemes.

We can offer expert advice, financial support and a development team to help communities who wish to develop their own renewable energy schemes to both reduce their carbon emissions and generate revenue.
